Behaviour Management Ideas

This year our kiddos are CHATTY and the pandemic has truly taken a toll on social skills. At our whole group time students tend to try and lay on each other, have hands on each other, talk to anyone around them (or just themselves) and basically do anything but pay attention. Well. That has changed since introducing our Lucky Ducks!

We choose a lucky duck before we start a group time and we do NOT tell the class who it is. The class knows we will be watching that student extra carefully during our group time. If they meet all our group time expectations we reveal the lucky duck and they get a prize! If they do not meet our expectations we do NOT reveal who it was and they go back into our jar. This has definitely improved our behaviours!
